SCOTT landscape design was commissioned by Clúid Housing Association to carry out landscape proposals on the residential area of Kenny's Lane in Youghal, Co. Cork in 2016.

The scheme is located to north west of Youghal Town, just off Upper Cork Hill. It overlooks the Blackwater River estuary and given the steep topography, it has fantastic panoramic views out onto the estuary. The scheme consists of 49 terrace and detatched houses and 12 apartments located in 2, three storey tower blocks. 

 

Proposals were based on a questionnaire developed and delivered to each resident. 

A public consultation evening was conducted with proposals and feed-back was given by residents.

Cost estimate were given for the proposal for budgeting exercises.
